Why is the BT8xx configured in HCI mode by default?

Last Updated: Jan 29, 2014 09:44AM EST

To ensure the most compatibility, it is logical to have the BT8xx in HCI mode due to the fact that most customers are still using Windows 7. Additional information on enabling HCI proxy mode on the BT8xx will be available from the Laird BT8xx product page.
