FAQ: How does the peripheral device advertise services?

Last Updated: Jan 09, 2014 03:16PM EST
Services can be advertised in a Services AD element by including the UUID of the advertised service. There are other service-related AD elements. The Central device can look for services that the BL600 supports before pairing, if connected. Then, once paired and authorized, the two devices can communicate over a suitable service. This service may be provided by either the central or the peripheral device.
